The Data Science Consultant (AI Review Analytics Consultant) is responsible for supporting project management and sales teams on legal discovery best practices. Acting as a subject matter expert, this position is also responsible for engaging directly with clients and internal case teams to provide expert consultation and identity best practices using eDiscovery AI technology, recommending cost effective workflows for ESI collection, processing, and document review, while being mindful of budget, risk, and defensibility.


This role will directly assist project and review management to resolve complex matters regarding databases and other technical issues; set up advanced workflows in review databases; create complex searches depending on client needs and review methodology, including providing client training (and internal team training) on ESI software and other FRONTEO product offerings. The role will also directly assist and lead Review Management projects utilizing third-party and FRONTEO-developed analytics tools.




1.      Client Data Management

     Lead and advise on best applications of data analytics and AI technology during managed document review

     Provide cost-effective and efficient workflows for data collection, processing and document review while being mindful of budget, risk, and defensibility

     Provide technical expertise to law firms and their clients regarding TAR (Technology Assisted Review) and identification of ESI for preservation and collection

     Guide clients on proper usage of eDiscovery tools and technology such as ECA, analytics, near-duplication, and email-threading

     Assist clients in solving complex database and other technical issues; set up advanced workflows in review databases; create complex searches depending on client needs and review methodology

     Draft budgets, timelines, and reports for eDiscovery projects

     Serve as an escalation point for project managers

     Proactively manage projects, set client expectations, anticipate requests, and resolve issues in a timely manner

     Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers, forensics, managed review services and project engineering

     Train clients and internal team members on company solutions and services


2.      Sales Support

     Support sales team, providing subject matter expertise at client meetings and demonstrations

     Perform solution/service demonstrations in person or remotely

     Attend meetings with attorneys and other prospective clients to discuss potential or existing projects

     Assist in drafting proposals to identify and highlight appropriate application of technology for potential projects

     Travel to other offices or client sites as needed to provide in-person technical and sales support


3.      Project Management

     Track and regularly report on the performance of the projects, overseeing the quality and timelines of deliverables, monitoring any risks and problem solving as needed

     Drive project governance including activities concerning data and review management processes; handle problem escalation and resolution for the client and internal teams

     Determine appropriate escalation points to senior management to resolve critical project issues as necessary



1. 5 years of work experience in Data Analytics, Data Consulting, Statistics, Legal Technology, eDiscovery Service, Law Firm, or related field

2. Experience in using statistical or data analytics software and presenting results to clients and internal teams

3. Knowledge of statistics including random sampling, recall rate, precision rate, confidence level and margin of error

4. Knowledge of EDRM (Electronic Discovery Reference Model)

5. Fluent in English and Korean

6. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field

7. No restrictions on domestic or international travel to meet clients and internal teams




1. Experience in Technology Assisted Review (TAR) for eDiscovery
2. Experience in eDiscovery project management and related tools
3. Experience in digital forensics and related tools
4. Certification in eDiscovery, digital forensics, and related tools
5. U.S. bar-licensed attorney in good standing
